What do you do if you don’t know what to tap on?
I know what it’s like. I know I can use EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique) to dissolve my negative emotions. I’m feeling down, but I just don’t know what tap on. So I don’t bother.
What do you do?
Nothing, Revel in your victimhood? Find something, anything to do other than EFT and get over your issue?
Yet, there is a secret to quickly and easily start tapping again. The easiest way is to tap:
Even though I don’t know what to tap on right now for whatever reason. I deeply and completely, love forgive and accept myself anyway. By the magic of EFT, you’ll start finding things to tap on.
How to Find More Inspiration
Books, Books.
If you are feeling something. Give it a name, give it a label. Then go and find a dictionary or thesaurus. How many other ways are there potentially that you could label what you think you are feeling?
Watch TV and Movies.
By watching television and movies. All manner of limiting decisions, negative beliefs and emotions are thrown at you. Many will strike a chord with you. Anything negative that you hear, tap on it.
Talk to Somebody Else.
Talk to somebody else about what you have or don’t have. Listen to the words and stories that you use to describe your situation and lack. Make mental notes or ask them to stop you every time you say something negative.
Also notice what you don’t say to them because you’re embarrassed or you think that they might judge you.
Write an Email.
I’ve found that there is something about writing out my problem or challenge that makes me express it differently than when I’m talking to somebody. Maybe it will be the same for you too.
Listen to Other People.
When you don’t know what to do. Listen to what other people are saying. Secretly!
I’m often amazed at by how I’ll be listening to a conversation and the people or person talking will mention a word and bang. That is exactly what I’m feeling.
I just didn’t know it, but I knew the word was a negative emotion, so I just tapped on it anyway.
Walkaway.
If you can’t find what to tap on. Leave it, walk away. Go and do something completely different. Inspiration about what your issue is can strike you in the strangest places.
